Exercise is a frame of mind!
Exercise is a frame of mind. Do you view exercise as drudgery or something that creates a strong mind and body? I’m passionate about exercise and it being a part of my lifestyle. Is it because I love working out? The answer is no! It’s the feeling I receive after I exercise. Many people feel that you have to like or love exercising and it’s simply not true. You need to tap into your feelings during and after your workouts. For example; after a workout I feel lighter on my feet, stronger and I’m ready to tackle the day. I use this to motivate me throughout the day until the next workout. Some of you may be new to exercise and your body is saying, “I hate this!” I want you to be very patient with yourself. I once felt the same way but I stayed focused and persevered through each workout until I slowly started feeling better emotionally, physically and mentally. A shift occurred as I grew stronger. I began looking forward to my workouts. I encourage you to be patient, to schedule your workouts and to tap into the feelings and benefits of great health. Don’t procrastinate! Stand up and get moving. Your body will thank you!
